Sports facilities operation services. Recreational, cultural and sporting services. Recreational-area services. Management-related services. Repair and maintenance work in connection with sports facilities. Construction work for sports facilities. Recreation centre construction work. Sporting services. Sport-related services. Sports-event promotion services. Sports-event organisation services. Construction work for buildings relating to leisure, sports, culture, lodging and restaurants. Construction work of leisure facilities. Construction work for swimming pool. Multi-purpose sports facilities construction work. Construction work in connection with structures for sports ground. Gymnasium construction work. Sports hall construction work. Installation of changing rooms. Facilities management services. Provision of the management and operation of a range of leisure facilities, community leisure and swimming pool facilities across the borough. Current management of the facilities is by an in house Council team. The successful bidder will be required to manage the transition of service provision whilst maintaining service standards. Bidders will be asked to provide business development options for the facilities within the contract sum that will achieve wider council objectives. Due to the potential long-term duration of the contract, bidders will need to adopt a flexible approach to the relationship with the Authority which will need to allow for the potential reconfiguration of leisure services across the Borough and the potential need to service new facilities and/or provide construction support if required. As an example, the following services will be required: Management of leisure centres:
Tottenham Green Leisure Centre
Park Road Leisure Centre
Broadwater Farm Community Centre.

The Council also wishes to explore options for the management of White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre without any council funding.
Note that while it is envisaged that sports development and the community physical activity programmes will continue to be lead by the Council┐s Recreation Services and Public Health teams; Bidders are asked to provide options for these areas of work including managing these services or alternatively effective interaction of the leisure centres with these services. Such programmes currently include:
Exercise Referral Programme
Holiday Sports Schemes
Sports Competitions and Events
Club Development
Disability Sports
Walking programmes
Swimming programmes
Community-based exercise classes
Sports Scholarship Scheme

However, the Council reserves the right to vary the scope of the tender which may mean that White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre or other options are not included in the final contract.

If Yes, description of particular conditions:
Under this contract a Contractor and its supply chain will be required to actively participate in the achievement of social and economic policy objects relating to recruitment and training together with supply chain initiatives and other similar initiatives in accordance with relevant legislation. Accordingly contract performance conditions relate in particular to social and economic considerations.
